Interior Detail
What do we do?
Our interior detail is made up of 3 stages. The first stage is the blow out stage where we prep your vehicle by removing any stubborn dirt that has accumulated in the interior of the car, especially the carpet. The second stage is the cleaning stage where we clean every single surface of your interior. And the last stage is the touch up stage where we go back and make sure that every single surface has been cleaned so that you can be satisfied with the work.
The Blow Out Stage
This is the first step to achieving a clean car. We first take out your carpets and all belongings that you might have left in your vehicle (Beware, you will be charged extra if there is a large amount of items on your vehicle), we then put that back on the trunk of your car so that you can be sure that everything is there when we leave. Then we clean the carpets using compressed air to blow out any dirt that may be trapped in the carpet and we follow through with a drill brush that brushes away any and all remaining dirt from your carpets. Keep in mind that any stains that are in the carpet can be removed but there is no guarantee that they will be fully cleaned.
Now that we have gotten the carpets cleaned we go to the interior and using that same compressed air we go through and blow out every surface of your car (Don't worry, we make sure to use a safe level of PSI so no surface will be damaged). We are careful when we go through your speakers with the compressed air as it can blow them out and make them stop working. We have a variety of tools for our air compressor that can help us get in and blow out all areas. For the blow out stage we mainly focus on the carpet as it is what captures the most dirt.
Now that your every spec of dirt in the interior of your car has been blown out we follow up with our vacuum to rid the interior of that now loose dirt that might've been harder to take out had we not used the compressed air. This stage is crucial for the follow up stages because if this isn't done then our cleaning stage won't be as effective since there is still dirt in the surface of your interior.
The Cleaning Stage
The cleaning stage follows the blow out stage and this is where we get down and dirty. We start off in the front of your vehicle by cleaning every surface with a non-abrasive microfiber towel and our cleaning solution that protects your car and makes every surface that it touches anti-static (Meaning that dirt won't stick to it as easy). We make sure to go through every surface thoroughly yet carefully so as to not damage any part of your vehicle. From the steering wheel to the crevices between your shifter we make sure to clean it all, we even clean the interior of your vents, the backside of your mirror, and even the bolts that connect the seat to your car (Believe me, when we say that we clean every surface we mean it).
Once every surface has been cleaned we then follow up and clean your windshields with an ammonia free cleaner so that your tint isn't damaged. There are many detailers out there who don't know of this and so they end up damaging their customer's property but at YMR Details you can be sure that we educate our employees thoroughly about every single product that they use to ensure a safe and deep clean to your vehicle.
The Touch Up Stage
Once the cleaning stage is done we then do the touch up stage but don't be fooled by the word touch up. It doesn't mean that we lightly go through your car. The touch up stage is compromised of the last vacuum to your car and the protection that we apply to the interior materials.
We vacuum twice because during the cleaning stage we clean up any dirt that might've not been blown out and we drop it onto the carpet so that then we can follow up with the second vacuuming. The last thing that we do to make sure that you car is in perfect condition is that we apply a protector to your vehicle that will protect it from any rapid cracking that is caused due to the sun. However, don't worry, your vehicle won't be left with a shiny look and that's because we believe that a shiny material is a dirty material (Because of body oils and such), your car will be left with an OEM finish as if it was brand new.
We have additional services for the interior of your vehicle that can further amplify the protection to your car's interior because as you know the car value begins to drop as soon as it comes out of the factory. These additional services will be sure to raise the value of your car so that if you were to sell it you could get more because of the added protection that you decided to apply to your car.
